one of the improvements I made on my Albin Stratus is to replace the original brass
strap hinge which holds the motor box.

The original hinge seemed to be too weak and I expected it to break when I had to
open the Motor box during a journey at sea.

The new hinges from Roca (65 x 188) are much more stable. The shaft is removable, so
you can lift off the motor box completely if you want to.
